Episode synopsis

At the Midland Art Gallery, Marissa Johanson and her devoted student Allison Kraft find inspiration in a single arresting photograph of Astrud, a sultry beauty from Jimena whose image ignites far more than artistic curiosity. A New York agent becomes captivated by her allure, whisking her away with promises of glamour, wealth and a modeling career that soon delivers everything she desires. But passion does not release its hold so easily, and when Javier arrives from Brazil demanding she abandon her new life, return home and become his wife, Astrud is torn between ambition and aching desire for the man she left behind.

Choosing fame over love, Astrud discovers that success cannot warm an empty bed or still a restless heart. This sensuous episode of The Erotic Traveler, starring Gizele Mendez as the irresistible Astrud and Scott Cruz as the smoldering Javier, explores temptation, longing and the cost of denying true desire, wrapped in the series' signature blend of art, beauty and intimate seduction.
