Love Machine (2016) [FULL MOVIE]

Movie synopsis

Russian director Pavel Ruminov turns the camera on his own tangled heart, casting himself opposite his real former lover Natalya Anisimova in a drama that blurs confession and performance. When he attempts to end their affair and ushers her out of his apartment, insisting he has moved on to a new woman named Masha, Natalya refuses to believe their story has truly closed. A year passes, and the former couple reunite to recreate their volatile romance on film, shaping it in the dreamy, restless style of the French New Wave. As the lines between art and memory dissolve, Ruminov slips into Gerald, a brooding alter ego haunted by long-simmering dissatisfaction with his own life and desires.

Maria Lavrova appears as Masha, the woman caught in the shadow of an unresolved passion, while old longing and new temptation collide in close, intimate quarters. Sensual, confessional and achingly honest, this Russian romance peels back the skin of a real relationship, offering bare emotion alongside bared bodies in a tale of jealousy, reinvention, and desire that refuses to stay buried.
