Movie synopsis
Behind the polished calm of an upscale restaurant kitchen lies a man split in two. Sammy Horn, played by Michael Des Barres, confesses his secret life to psychiatrist Dr. Jane Bordeaux, portrayed by Nastassja Kinski, revealing how devotion to his wife, Grace Horn (Rosanna Arquette), and their young son coexists with an insatiable hunger for other women. Each session peels back another layer of temptation, as encounters with alluring strangers and old flames test the fragile boundary between loyalty and lust. Alexandra Paul appears as Katherine, one of the women drawn into Sammy's restless pursuit of pleasure.
Set against the simmering tension of a marriage threatened by desire, this American drama explores obsession, guilt, and the seductive pull of forbidden passion. Rich with intimate encounters and smoldering chemistry, it invites viewers into the private confessional of a man who cannot resist the thrill of wanting more than he has.
