Movie synopsis
Fresh-faced and brimming with quiet desire, Allyson Roper (Jennifer Hammon) abandons her boyfriend Peter and small-town life for the promise of stardom in Los Angeles. Settling into a room overseen by the sour landlord Mr. Merry, she finds herself beside Bridget (Caroline Ambrose), a poised and alluring woman who entertains men behind closed doors each night. By day Allyson endures the demanding, overbearing instruction of acting coach Eric Constantine (James Horan), but by darkness she presses her eye to the keyhole, drawn into Bridget's clandestine encounters and awakening a hunger she cannot resist touching herself to satisfy. Amid this growing obsession, photographer Jerry (David Andriole), a classmate with his own charm and agenda, offers to capture her image for a portfolio, drawing her further from innocence.
Blending simmering voyeurism, jealousy, and forbidden fascination, this 1997 American drama-thriller traces one woman's slow unraveling of desire in a city built on illusion and temptation, delivering sensual encounters and bold nudity throughout.
